Introduction

For those of you who act in the areas of General Practice, Asset Protection and Estate Management or perhaps in Dispute Resolution Teams, you may already know your way around Enduring Powers of Attorney, applications under the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act 1988 applications and the Residential Care Subsidy regime. However, for those of you who, like me, are having to learn a little more about areas of law you haven’t previously been familiar with, the intention of this paper is to share information in order to enable us to better assist our respective clients.
