Online CPD Module

Over a year on from the introduction of the Health and Safety at Work Act what conclusions can we draw? This module will provide perspectives from the regulator and the defence in this developing area.

The Act introduced fundamental changes to the law including duties being framed around a “person conducting a business or undertaking”, increased penalties and a tiered penalty regime, and the imposition of a positive duty of due diligence on directors and those in senior management.

The presenters will discuss where these changes are likely to be taking us and the practical implications for your clients stemming from these developments.
