How sophisticated is your system for setting costs? Are you confident, when you bill a client, the bill is defensible and based upon ethical considerations? Do your clients understand the rationale behind the amount being charged?

Often, a formulaic fee structure is taken for granted without sufficient consideration about how it could be tailored to suit individual aspects and ensuring clients understand the value of the service they are getting.

This course will cover key elements of billing regulations – what you can and can’t do – and will explore different ways of thinking about costs. You will consider the advantages of adopting different ways of charging in tailored circumstances and when costs might be excessive – the boundaries of estimates and quotes.
