Getting Ahead of Proposed Employment Law Reforms in 2025

Starts: Monday 29 September 2025, 12.00pm - 2.00pm CPD hours: 2 Format: Online

Several major employment law reforms have been introduced through the Employment Relations Amendment Bill 2025 and, although they’re still under consideration, forward-thinking employers are already preparing for change. In this webinar you’ll hear from seasoned in-house employment lawyers who will unpack the proposed updates, explain what they could mean in practice, and share insights into how we could start thinking about translating this to fit within a business environment. Whether or not these reforms are enacted, understanding them now helps your business and clients get ahead and proactively plan for change.

Topics will include:

  • Contractor classification
  • Contributory conduct limits in personal grievance remedies
  • $180k high-income threshold restricting dismissal claims
  • Repeal of the 30-day rule in collective bargaining.
