Te Ao Mārama is a judicially led District Court kaupapa that is intended to enhance justice for everyone who attends the District Court. It brings best practice approaches from specialist and solution-focused courts into the mainstream District Court.
This free live web stream, sponsored by the Ministry of Justice, will include an introduction from the Chief District Court Judge Heemi Taumaunu and the perspectives of two front line judges who will talk directly about the experience of rolling out a Te Ao Mārama approach in their courts. This practical presentation is aimed at helping ensure that you have an understanding of how to work effectively in this environment.
