Pursuing Remedies Against Separate Legal Entities Under the PRA

Starts: Tuesday 9 September 2025, 4.00pm - 6.00pm CPD hours: 2 Format: In-Person & Online

When a relationship ends, what happens to property that is not in the hands of either party? While the Property (Relationships) Act 1976 (PRA) is primarily concerned with property owned by parties to a relationship, significant challenges arise when assets have been alienated. This seminar will explore the legal and practical complexities of pursuing remedies under the PRA in respect of property held by trusts and companies.

Learning objectives

By attending this seminar you will:

  • Improve your ability to manage relationship property disputes involving complex asset-holding structures.
  • Better understand the reach and limits of PRA remedies.
