Starts: Monday 1 September 2025, 9.00am - 11.00am CPD hours: 2 Format: In-Person & Online

As cross-border commerce continues to expand, the ability to resolve disputes effectively and enforce outcomes across jurisdictions has become critical for businesses and legal professionals alike. This seminar offers a practical and up-to-date overview of Singapore’s approach to cross-border dispute resolution and enforcement.

Topics will include:

  • The types of support that Singapore courts can provide in aid of foreign proceedings, including (a) interim relief, (b) evidence gathering, and (c) cross-border insolvency recognition
  • Singapore’s legal framework for the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitral awards, including a discussion on the recent case law developments on the setting aside of Singapore-seated international arbitral awards.

Drawing on recent case developments and procedural innovations, the seminar will highlight key trends and strategic considerations for parties involved in transnational disputes.
