Michael heads his firm’s specialist residential conveyancing division, HomeLegal. He also acts for a number of real estate agents and agencies. Michael is an approved trainer for the Real Estate Authority and has been involved in writing their training materials.

Nick has been in practice since 2000 and owns his own practice on Auckland’s North Shore, specialising in property and commercial law. Formerly, Nick was a director and shareholder in another firm and was Special Counsel at Davenports Law, leading their property law team. He holds a master’s degree in real estate law and is a former contributing writer to Butterworth’s Conveyancing Bulletin. Nick has presented regularly at CLE seminars and has taught the Residential Property Transactions workshop for about 15 years.

Katherine is a director at Convex Legal. Her practice focuses on advising business owners and individuals on the areas of property, business law, trusts, and asset planning. Prior to founding Convex Legal, Katherine spent the first half of her career working for Dentons Kensington Swan and DLA Piper, and in Vodafone New Zealand’s legal team, specialising in commercial contracts. She is a current member of the Lawyers’ Complaints Service Standards Committee.

Duncan has practised in a wide variety of property work for more than 36 years. He has served on the Property Law Section Executive Committee for more than 20 years, with six years as Chair. Duncan was involved in the development of Landonline and continues as convener of the Land Titles Subcommittee.


 

Anita Wan 2026Anita Wan
Anderson Lloyd, Auckland

Anita is a senior associate in the Auckland property team at Anderson Lloyd, having joined in 2019. She is interested in all aspects of conveyancing and commercial property law and she is especially passionate about guiding first home buyers through the purchase process. Anita is a member of the Law Association, the Auckland Women Lawyers’ Association and the Property Law Section.
