22 February - Kua Ao te Rā: Introduction to te ao Māori and te reo Māori for the legal profession workshop will now be held as an online workshop.

This one-day workshop is specifically tailored for lawyers and is designed to enhance your ability to connect with Māori who you may be working with as clients, stakeholders, partners, or in another capacity. Experienced facilitators will guide you through an interactive day as you consider the who, why and how to successfully engage with Māori in the law. This workshop will provide you with practical tools, such as law specific te reo Māori resources, to ensure that what you learn can be incorporated into your work environment.

By the end of this workshop you will have greater confidence engaging within te Ao Māori environments in both your professional and personal life; and be able to provide a working environment ideal for developing and embracing productive, successful and enduring working relationships.
This interactive workshop is focused on developing your skills, and will use a range of teaching and learning methods.

You may cancel your registration eight working days in advance of an event, and you will receive a refund less a 25% administration fee. If you cancel less than eight working days in advance of the event, no refund is payable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person. If you wish to do so you must advise CLE in writing of the change. NZLS CLE Ltd reserves the right to close registrations and cancel or reschedule an event as necessary. Where an event is cancelled by CLE, a full refund is payable.
