Property lawyers and relationship property practitioners continue to face the challenge of managing client expectations in respect of trusts and related structures in an ever changing environment. Attendees at this workshop will consider the key principles pertaining to trusts and the PRA as they work through a practical scenario that will provide them with the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills in this field.
The first half of the day will look at key principles and the developing case law pertaining to trusts and the Property (Relationships) Act 1976 (the PRA), including:

This hands-on, group workshop is focused on developing strategies for dealing with the PRA, other claims against trusts, and trust structuring to withstand challenges. A range of teaching and learning techniques will be used.
All practitioners working with trusts, family, relationship property and those who deal with farms and succession planning will benefit from attending. Presenters will assume a general working knowledge of trusts and the PRA.
