However, the ongoing health of any democracy rests on the degree of engagement that citizens have with their law makers. Lobbying is a key element of this process. It’s not just for professional lobbyists – everyone should be able to have some influence on issues that matter to them. Lawyers are often the first port of call for seeking advice in this area so it makes sense to keep your political knowledge up to speed.
This webinar is based around two main themes: planning engagement with relevant politicians, officials and stakeholders; then executing the plan effectively. It has been designed especially for NZLS CLE, derived from TorquePoint’s full-day programme, LobbyTorque.
