Councils in the major metropolitan areas (and surrounding districts) are required to introduce changes into district and city plans under a key new intensification and planning process by 20 August 2022. The intensification requirements are unprecedented in New Zealand planning law which has traditionally allowed councils to set their own rules for urban buildings. This webinar will help you to identify and understand the implications of the new process and to provide robust advice to whatever party you are assisting.

Presenter

Stuart Ryan Barrister, Auckland Stuart is a barrister with a specialist practice in resource management, local government, public law and related areas. He has over 25 years’ experience in advising local government, corporates, developers, private individuals, and industry associations. Stuart has experience in litigation at all levels of New Zealand courts and provides opinions and advice on policy and legislation changes. He regularly presents seminars to both clients and professional groups in his specialist areas and is an editor for Salmon Resource Management Act.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel your registration eight working days in advance of an event, and you will receive a refund less a 25% administration fee. If you cancel less than eight working days in advance of the event, no refund is payable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person. If you wish to do so you must advise CLE in writing of the change. NZLS CLE Ltd reserves the right to close registrations, and, cancel or reschedule an event as necessary. Where an event is cancelled by CLE, a full refund is payable.
