This webinar will outline approaches to sentencing in a regulatory environment including discharges without conviction, restorative justice, reparations and financial capacity adjustments. Additionally, it will address the key sentencing factors to take account of when advocating for clients on sentencing matters.

• Getting a set of sentencing facts that lead to the best outcome for your clients, and when to look to a disputed facts hearing

Presenter

Tim Condor Associate, Holland Beckett, Tauranga Tim has wide experience in criminal and regulatory proceedings, including acting as prosecutor, defence counsel and amicus curiae in regulatory proceedings. He also has experience acting on behalf of insurers in this space. Tim regularly appears in the District Court, High Court and Court of Appeal, and has conducted both judge alone and jury trials. He has a deep knowledge of criminal procedure, which has enabled him to achieve positive outcomes for clients in a number of different cases. In addition to his criminal and regulatory work, Tim also represents clients in a range of public law and local government matters as well as commercial disputes.

• You can view and hear the presentation again, as many times as you wish in your own time for no additional cost.

Registration but non-attendance on the day

• Under the CPD Scheme only those who attend a live webinar are eligible to claim CPD hours.
• If you registered but were unable to attend on the day, you can view and hear the archived recording of the presentation.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel your registration eight working days in advance of an event, and you will receive a refund less a 25% administration fee. If you cancel less than eight working days in advance of the event, no refund is payable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person. If you wish to do so you must advise CLE in writing of the change. NZLS CLE Ltd reserves the right to close registrations, and, cancel or reschedule an event as necessary. Where an event is cancelled by CLE, a full refund is payable.
