Presenters

Kelly Paterson Buddle Findlay, Christchurch Kelly specialises in commercial litigation. She advises on a wide range of commercial litigation issues, including contract disputes, insolvency and credit recovery, insurance, local government issues, property law disputes and security enforcement. Kelly has appeared in courts at all levels, as well as Tribunal and Arbitration hearings. She has recent experience in class actions, having acted for Southern Response in the Ross v Southern Response class action.

Ben Walker Canterbury Chambers, Christchurch Ben has nearly 20 years’ litigation experience in private practice and as in-house counsel, both in New Zealand and Australia. He joined the independent bar (with Canterbury Chambers) in August 2015. Ben practises across a range of commercial and civil litigation areas such as in relation to contract, construction, property, trust and estate disputes, and negligence claims. He also has expertise in insurance matters. Ben appears as counsel regularly in the High Court and in Tribunals and Arbitrations.

Registration but non-attendance on the day

Cancellation and Refund Policy

You may cancel your registration eight working days in advance of an event, and you will receive a refund less a 25% administration fee. If you cancel less than eight working days in advance of the event, no refund is payable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person. If you wish to do so you must advise CLE in writing of the change. NZLS CLE Ltd reserves the right to close registrations, and, cancel or reschedule an event as necessary. Where an event is cancelled by CLE, a full refund is payable.
