Independence of judgement and freedom from compromising influences or loyalties are essential to courtroom advocacy. So too is knowledge of acceptable conduct in litigation. This seminar will explore the current law in this area, including the circumstances in which a lawyer may be disqualified from acting in litigation and the requirements of an advocate as an officer of the court.
