Annabel has been practising criminal law exclusively for more than 20 years. She has focused on her strength as a jury trial lawyer in this time. Annabel has a strong Court presence and has been described as a fearless advocate. She has worked as a prosecutor and defence lawyer in her years of practice as a criminal law lawyer, and has gained experience in working at the crown. Annabel has worked in London, Hamilton and Rotorua and is now situated at the Guardian Chambers in Auckland.

Hugh is an Auckland barrister currently situated at the Durham Street Chambers. He has practised law in NZ since 1988, initially as a Crown prosecutor. Hugh joined the defence bar in 1998 and specialises in criminal law. He has prosecuted and defended numerous jury trials including murder, manslaughter, serious violence, sexual offences, major multi-accused drugs operations and fraud matters.

If you cancel less than eight working days in advance of the event, no refund is payable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person. If you wish to do so you must advise CLE in writing of the change. NZLS CLE Ltd reserves the right to close registrations, and, cancel or reschedule an event as necessary. Where an event is cancelled by CLE, a full refund is payable.
