Residential Property Transactions 2012

This small group intensive workshop offers you the opportunity to be guided stepby-step through the conveyance of a stand-alone fee simple residential dwelling, a cross-lease dwelling and a unit title property.

You and your firm will benefit as you:

Expand your skills in dealing with matters such as requisitions, undertakings, special conditions, problems at settlement, partial settlements, fax settlements and other issues commonly encountered by property lawyers
Develop risk management practices so that you recognise areas requiring decisions or input from your employing principal
Develop file management practices to reduce the chances of error or poor service to clients
Improve your familiarity with standard property law forms and procedures, particularly the agreements for sale and purchase and land registration documents
Increase your knowledge of, and familiarity with, various types of titles and different ownership options.
