Litigation Skills 2012

LSP12 Banner

Fee (incl GST)
$3,755 - NZLS members and Associate members
$3,950 - Non-members

This residential week-long course running from 19 – 25 August at Lincoln University hardly needs explaining to the profession since its value and excellence has been long established.

The course uses the tried and true National Institute for Trial Advocacy teaching method of performance and critiques by experienced, trained faculty providing specific, clear, constructive and candid feedback.

Throughout the course participants selected from those who apply for the programme will:

  • Perform exercises and be critiqued
  • Observe others in their group perform and hear them critiqued
  • Observe themselves through reviewing videos of their exercises
  • Observe faculty demonstration as illustrations of the skills to be learned
  • Realise that achieving the maximum potential as an advocate will depend on developing the techniques which are best suited to the individuals skills and personality.

This course is designed for practitioners probably in their first five years of practice. Some litigation experience is required, and most participants should have had at least two years’ such experience.

Director: Jonathan Krebs
